How will Artists Deep Dive work?
This six-week programme meets you where you are—accessible 24/7 from your own studio. Each Sunday, a new Deep Dive Lesson begins on our private webpage, guiding you through a curated journey of creative discovery.
You choose your own focus, subject, medium, and style—this is your Deep Dive. Whether you work in paint, fiber, sculpture, mixed media, or any form that calls to you, we work together to refine and clarify your vision. Through research, investigation, and deep exploration, we'll uncover the layers of possibility within your chosen direction and help you build the distinctive voice that is uniquely yours. This is about revealing what your practice is reaching toward and giving it form.
Your Weekly Deep Dive Includes:
Videos to help you craft a personalized creative plan, including how to ask essential questions about your work, refine your vision through targeted worksheets, and build sustainable time blocks that honor your priorities. You'll explore journaling practices like Morning Pages to illuminate your creative "why," learn to construct mind maps that explode your vision outward, develop an artist statement for this focused period, and organize your materials—yes, limitations can be liberating! We'll even examine your studio space: is it supporting or serving your practice?
The Community Experience:
In the Artists Deep Dive thrives on creative exchange, so each week you'll connect with fellow artists through Zoom meetings featuring specific topics for conversation which build on that weeks lessons (recorded, if you miss a meeting). There are also informal optional gatherings in Zoom breakout rooms, and a private online group where you'll share works-in-progress, resources, breakthroughs, and encouragement.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much time will I have to commit to the Artists Deep Dive each week?
We'd all love to spend as much time as we possibly could in our art practise - but realistically eating, sleeping and such are important too! Especially self - care, this isnt' meant to burn you out! I find 3 hours per day, actively making art, is about the most I can handle. You might feel differently and that's good too! Remember that there's a bit of writing and journaling involved and you plan the schedule that works for you. So....I'd say 10-12 hours a week.
How long will I have access to the webpages?
You will have access to the Artists Deep Dive for as long as you need, although the content may change as I continue to update the pages. And I recommend that you download and print off the worksheets. And emroll again, many are repeat students!
What kind of mediums are welcome?
All artists are welcome, no matter what their medium! My focus is textile based but I have also worked in paper, book making, acrylics and mixed media.
Will you be teaching art techniques?
No, I won’t be teaching techniques, but artists are often willing to share their expertise, so we will be helping each other, and questions will welcome in our online chat/sharing group. And if we can’t help, we can help you find the answers…
I am shy or uncomfortable about sharing my work, will I have to do that?
Not at all! We encourage you to share but it is never required! We will be supportive and reassuring of each other, but we’d never ask more that you are willing to give.
